Windy von Wagen is a gorgeous 18 month old German Shepherd. Our wonderful Windy has blossomed during her short time at the rescue. Windy looks forward to her walks and enjoys meeting new people, so much so that her preferred greeting for her human is a ladylike and cuddly bear hug! When something makes her anxious, e.g., loud buses, she waits bravely for it to pass and to be reassured by her human. Because she is so incredibly sweet, this is just another grand opportunity for a quick hug. It is heartwarming to see how quickly she responds to reassurance and “You’ve got this, Windy!” She is an easy walker, adapting to your pace and listening for your voice. In playgroups, she is increasingly at ease with all types of dog personalities. Windy is definitely the dog for you if you are a loving and reassuring human being, and she cannot wait to show you what is yet to come.
